Product info
Pregmate Ovulation and Pregnancy Test Strips help you find your most fertile days and then check for pregnancy, all from one pack. Both tests detect hormones in urine at 25 mIU/mL sensitivity and give results in 5 minutes. Scan ovulation strips in the Pregmate app to see your T/C ratio, which compares how dark your test line is with the control line, and log pregnancy tests so all your results stay in one place. Each strip comes in its own sealed pouch, protected from moisture until you're ready to test.
About the ovulation tests
Pregmate ovulation test strips detect luteinizing hormone (LH) and are 99% accurate in detecting the LH surge, when used as directed. Ovulation usually happens 24–48 hours after a positive result, so a positive means ovulation is approaching and your most fertile days are here.
- Format: dip strip
- Hormone detected: LH (luteinizing hormone)
- Sensitivity: 25 mIU/mL
- Result time: 5 minutes
About the pregnancy tests
Pregmate pregnancy test strips detect the pregnancy hormone in urine. This hormone starts to rise after implantation and roughly doubles every 2 to 3 days in early pregnancy.
- Format: dip strip
- Detects: pregnancy hormone in urine
- Sensitivity: 25 mIU/mL
- Read result at: 5 minutes
When to start testing
Tracking ovulation
Find your start day by subtracting 17 from your usual cycle length. For a 28-day cycle, that's day 11. Test daily for at least 5 days or until you get a positive.
If your cycle length varies, use your shortest recent cycle to find your start day.
Testing for pregnancy
For the most reliable result, test from the day after your missed period, using first-morning urine.
If you don't know when your period is due, test no earlier than 21 days after the last time you had unprotected sex.
Testing tips
- Reduce liquids 2 hours before testing to avoid diluting the sample
- For ovulation tests, test between 10 AM and 8 PM. For pregnancy tests, use first-morning urine
- If a pregnancy test is negative and your period hasn't started, test again in 48 hours
- Store tests at room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight
- Dip the strip only up to the MAX line. Don't urinate directly on the strip
- Each test is for single use only
- Read at 5 minutes. Don't read results after 5 minutes

Why test for ovulation and pregnancy in one pack?
Most people testing for ovulation are trying to conceive, so a pregnancy test is the next step. This pack covers both: ovulation strips to time intercourse, and pregnancy strips to check for pregnancy around your missed period.
When should I switch from ovulation to pregnancy testing?
Stop ovulation testing once you've caught your LH surge. For the most reliable pregnancy result, test from the day of your expected period.
Can I use ovulation tests as pregnancy tests, or vice versa?
No. Ovulation strips detect LH, and pregnancy strips detect the pregnancy hormone. They're different hormones, so the tests aren't interchangeable.
Are Pregmate tests HSA/FSA eligible?
Yes. Pregmate tests are eligible for HSA and FSA funds. Available through Walmart, Amazon, Target, and CVS.
